A fantastic early season filler/foliage, Bupleurum is a must grow for me. A unique plant unlike any other I grow. Its foliage is almost a blue/green, and its flowers are yellow. I love harvesting and working with it in arrangements.
Can be fall sown in mild areas and planted in succession for continuous harvests again late winter and easily spring. Requires cold stratification, so be sure to direct sow when frosts are still likely. I use 9” spacing for Bupleurum.
