Curated over the past couple years and I’m obsessed.
A beautiful blend of colors and forms. All can be used for cut flowers. Sweetpeas do get long enough and a little tip I suggest is cutting further than what you would want to as then the possibilities are endless and you get beautiful tendrils as well.
Sweetpeas tend to be genetically stable most of the time as they self pollinate before even opening fully, but genetics can be a bit quirky.
You cab direct sow sweetpeas earlier, or sow indoors. I’ve had great luck with indoor growing in deeper cells for sweetpeas. They thrive unbelievably and it can prevent the slug/snail losses that many experience.
Sow in succession and have afternoon shade or a shade cloth if you want to be a little extra like me for a longer and more fragrant season.
